drol 11,933 Posted December 2, 2022 His family and the hospital insist it's routine, ESPN on the other hand mantains his condition is critical. Maybe both exaggerated. The man has terminal cancer which spread everywhere on top of decades of failing health. It's a mystery how he is still alive, but this might not be his time yet. I get the feeling his family would want some privacy and as such I don’t think they’ll ever confirm if he’s in critical condition. Of course that’s not me saying he’s definitely a goner soon, but definitely food for thought

No, he’d just be dying at a time where something apt to him was going on. A memorable way of him departing would be while playing centre-forward against South Korea on Monday having abandoned his hospital deathbed. 1
