What a fucking bell end.

Looks like I'm running with 19 in my theme team because I didn't have any subs.

Is it a sign of immaturity that the first thing I thought of when seeing this thread was a bunch of French housecats having a good time or summat? Just askin'...don't judge!:ninja:

Maybe I should have subtitled this thread "Upper class going down on each other." Okay, let's not go there.

The heir to the throne of China, Jin Youzhi, is dead at 96:

http://www.cankaoxiaoxi.com/roll/roll10/2015/0410/738039.shtml(obit in chinese)

His best claim to fame is being the half-brother of the Last Emperor of China, immortalized in the epic movie whose soundtrack I listened to just yesterday.

I know somebody also picked him in the DDP, so a better obit is needed.

Edit: Indeed, it would be a unique hit for the "not yet gone, but still forgotten" theme team, which actually supports its name by having 19 unique picks.

Editedit: Sorry, YoungWillz.

To be perfectly accurate, he was "heir to the Manchu throne under the rule of primogeniture, but he repudiated his claim":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jin_Youzhi

The last emperor Puyi had no children, so the claim fell to his brother who then also died, and then Youzhi, also known as Puren, was next in line. In fact, many deposed dynasties still claim thrones that no longer exist.

For example, "According to them (the Legitimists), the current heir to the French throne, if restored, is Louis Alphonse, Duke of Anjou"

Which shows that the Russian revolutionary approach to deposed royals has its merits.

A complete aside: Cajun French pronounces that surname BOWL-yay.... Or some mouthful-of-crawfish thing along those lines.

Any Parisian French speakers can tell me how that should really be pronounced? Appreciated in advance.

In France one would pronounce Beaulieu BOW (as in bow and arrow) L'YUH. That's a reasonable approximation. There are a number of places in France named Beaulieu.

The English one is pronounced Bew-lee, for no logical reason that I have ever been able to fathom. We normally pronounce Beau as BOW, and lieu as L'YOO or LOO. Except when it is part of Lieutenant when we pronounce it LEF (bangs head against desk).
