I do wonder if corbyns student cronies and momentum are manipulating the polls by finding a way to get involved and take part en masse. I just don't see a conservative switching votes to labour for corbyn which needs to happen a lot for corbyn to be within 3 points let alone to be ahead.

These polls are a bit to manufactured for my liking showing corbyn slowly eating away mays lead. No swing or dip from terror attacks or labour gaffes? I definitely think it will come out that momentum/labour have found a loophole in the new way polls are being taken and are manipulating it for their own benefit.

We had a by election in a safe labour seat in Copeland which conservatives won and the local elections. They're the only 'polls' so to speak we can take 100% for real.

So, Momentum claimed the polls were rigged when it was Tories 20 points ahead, and now right wingers claim the polls are rigged when its closer.

Simple solution: the polls are bollocks, in general.

If folk have moved to Labour, well, remember, Tories have very successfully made this an "us or them" election, squeezing the third party votes. So if folk were to choose between the "lesser of two evils", there's not an outstandingly great Tory option. It's "vote Theresa because she's not that deplorable guy" - all very Hilary.

[Hilary would win here, of course. Tory majority 110 incoming.]

Momentum claiming the Polls were rigged at 20 points does lend evidence to my theory they have found a way to influence the polls. I imagine them saying we can't win or get the core vote out unless we show the polls tightening etc and we should manipulate the polls back. New methods always have flaws in them and I imagine its be exploited. You've heard plenty of labour supporters saying I'm voting conservative for the first time but I've not heard it the other way around which is what's needed to even get close to the Tories in the polls. Surely labour would be doing commercials with these people or advertising them at events or saying hey look we're winning the conservative vote etc.

Well what the fuck did you expect her to say?

Hug a terrorist?

Yes, the internet does need some form of regulation, its not going to stop you looking at ladyboy porn but it should stop those cunts from communicating their shite to one another.

Yes, there IS too much tolerance, its why we are in the massive shit we are in.

Fuck tolerenace and fuck the 'we are not scared' shit.

Nor are they.

The Conservative government has no understanding of the internet. Her allusion to end to end encryption being exploited shows that. Also, if you thing Theresa May wouldn't use her whitelisted internet to completely ban porn then you're optimistic given she's already has. The internet is a vital tool for us to discuss things, and governments don't want us to discuss things.

That's fair. But why single out the public sector unless you're chasing the "all our schools are full of Jihadi's" UKIP vote.

You know what, in one post you have demonstrated a childish naivety that is utterly fucking soul destroying.

The Government has no need to understand the internet, GCHQ does all the understanding that is needed.

FFS, wake up and grow up, we can discuss whatever we fucking like but if its about planning and preparing to bomb kids and going on stabbing rampages in Cleethorpes or buggering schoolboys over a car bonnet while streaming the action live to paedos all over Europe then, yeah, maybe somesort of regulation isnt such a bad idea...

Your last point just isnt worth responding to, truly, I fear for my Granddaughter to arrives future.

Not from cunts who will try to kill her because she is western and non M u s l i m but because of fucking idiots like you who will be, one day, the grown ups in our world long before she is and long after Ive gone.

We are fucked.

At what point does that regulation creep beyond it's original intentions. I'd argue the childish naivety is to assume that a database containing all of the online activities of every member of the public would never be misused by a government. You could argue "the Tories wouldn't" but what about the government after that. Media has always been a tool to influence and sway public opinion, the internet is a break from that mould and governments are going to try and rescue control of it for political gain.

Yes, shit happens on the internet that needs dealt with, but that's what police are fucking for. They don't need unfettered access to everyone's online activity, they need targeted access to the computers of perpetrators. May's already passed the Digital Economy Bill and the Investigatory Powers Bill; what more can she possibly need with regards to regulation of the internet. I'm not saying we don't need any but intelligence led police and security work using the existing powers should be enough, a whitelisted internet (which appears to be the grand plan) is not needed.

The attacker in Manchester had been reported 5 times, maybe let's get the basic old-fashioned respond to concerns stuff right before we start fucking going all authoritarian.

Do you SERIOUSLY think the Police look at EVERYBODY'S internet history? Are you fucking serious?

Unlike Airports, which are happy to stop 88 year old incontinent men and body search them and check their brogues for hidden explosives, our security services target those that are most likely to be the kind of people that want to do the rest of us harm.

They can do that because bell ends like you assume that they are targeting all of us, regulating all of us and reading all of our emails and trawling through our internet histories.

Unlike airports, the Police can do all of that because nobody is going to play the race card, the anti m u s l i m card and accuse them of harrassing sections of our society for no good reason blah de fucking blah.

Im gonna keep looking at Porn between consenting animals adults and post near the knuckle, tasteless shit on here in the knowledge that Plod is not giving a single fuck about it because they are too busy trawling through encrypted conversations between Tariq in Luton and Mohammed in Gent.

It is as if people think that Theresa May Amber Rudd and several geeks from GCHQ have a meeting every week to watch all the porn you have downloaded in the last week then tut and shake their heads .

The security services have so much bloody data to go through they discard a lot of it but unless you type terrorist related words and material in the internet they wont come after you or leak your data as they are too busy. They are also trained to discard false alarms.

I was told by a very reliable source who works for the BTP that there are certain sites on the dark web that jihadists access and if we were to google and go on the page we would get a visit from the police. The only time this goes wrong as where people have been told the name of the sites (and before you ask I am not sure what they are called now off the top of my head) google it out of interest and it gets flagged up.

So, if we were to go those sites and the police break down our doors and use their Tezza sanctioned shoot-to-kill policy.....

You do now. Times have changed, enough is enough, etc etc etc.

I do worry that extremist terror will simply be supplemented by police terror. They've already shot a member of the public (crossfire I presume, although that hasn't been made explicit) and mistakes do get made. Rogue police officers do get through, we've seen that too. It'll be demonstrators next...

Yeah lets disarm all our police, disband the SAS and all that .

Fucking hell, a member of the public got accidentally hit in a horrific situation but is alive after not being stabbed to death because the wankers that would have done it were shot dead....

You sure you are not Jeremy Corbyn?

Now now, I didn't say that.

I don't think they've explicitly said the member of the public did get hit accidentally. Let's wait for the official report. I just imagine if there was a shoot to kill policy during the miners' strike, for example.

I'm fed up with politicians saying we should carry on, it won't change our way of life, it won't change our values, then using things like this to change our way of life and our values.

And it escalates. The crims get guns as a counter to increased guns by the police and more people die. Sorry you are dead, we got the wrong street.

It's all terribly exciting though...if Tezza gets in, she'll make Thatcher look like a pussycat.

You said 'I do worry that extremist terror will simply be supplemented by police terror'

You then went onto the point about somebody being shot and mistakes that can be made.

Im really not sure where you are coming from and, I suspect, Im not the only one Willz.

The very last thing that I and 99.99.23% of the UK population is even remotely pondering is the idea, even a vague one, that the Police MAY go a bit gung ho and MAYBE somebody who is innocent will get killed.

Well it may and the Police will be lambasted, the Government will be lambasted and everybody who is two degrees plus to the right of centre will be lambasted by every libtard, anarchist and resident of Richmond upon Thames.

I am truly sick to fucking death of 'right on politics' and the idea that we should even be thinking about the possibilities of a Police officer going out of control off of the back of the fact that they put their lives on the line to take out three cunts who were wearing (fake) suicide belts and not even considering the possibility that those belts could have sent them all 60ft into the atmosphere in bits and pieces.

As for the theory that the crims get guns as a counter, well, where the fucking hell have you been for the last few decades?

Crims are already using guns, crims have murdered Policemen with guns, Carl Bridgewater was murdered with a gun, four Policemen were shot dead as far back as 1966 by a criminal with a gun. Crims own guns, teenagers own guns!!

Gun ownership escalated after the Balkans conflict, it was always there tho, more armed Police now wont change a sodding thing.

Yeah, our way of life is changing, blame the fucking terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christ on a fucking bike, just incredible.

What I didn't say was disarm the police or the SAS as you implied!

Maybe someone innocent will be killed Maybe it will be your friend, your neighbour, your friendly shopkeeper. Tough on them.

I also didn't say crims were not already using guns. Crikey, you do go off on one on a skim read, don't you? It's a fact that the more you arm, the more that is countered, I said it would escalate - it's already dangerous, make it even more dangerous? Even Cressida didn't say that today.

And yes, I agree our way of life has to change - I was pointing out the politicians say it won't change while doing the exact opposite.

Please count to ten next time LFN, I like you but you do seem to become a foaming fascist every time I post here.

That wasn't my intention at all. Look again. I haven't expressed a personal opinion on what I would do, I haven't declared what my position on things actually are. I've expressed fears, worries, possibilities but I haven't actually expressed an opinion on what is right, etc.
