This is someone I am very interested in. If we can figure out a way to lock down his bio in concrete, it would be thrilling.

Especially as English wiki has him alive at 102 + being born in 1920...

It would be good if we could find sources of his death.

There is no chance he is still alive. If it, would be known

I've updated Hilda Bernard. I don't want to take John Bartha off until something more concrete emerges. I'm convinced he's dead but birth and death years seem to vary greatly. It would be super useful if IMDb stated their sources, but alas...

26) Kerima (IMDb) actress – A mysterious one indeed. Promotional material says she was Algerian, but she was from France. Married to Bond director Guy Hamilton. His Telegraph obituary from 2016 originally stated that she survived him. It was later amended to say that she predeceased him. They lived in Majorca together, so to get a definite answer someone will likely have to get in touch with the registry there.

I don't have any concrete evidence, some obit say she survived her husband and other not.

Another unsourced edit was made that she died on November 14, 2016 in Beziers, France, seven months after her husband death. True, false idk.

Remarried in 1986 to Peter J Gould.

She kept the "Ford" part and became "Cynthia F. Gould" it would seem.

Died in Milwaukee around July 2014. Her obituary isn't online but there's a record of it existing here.

@arghton Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you have the wrong Donald Pippin.

(Wiki) Donald Pippin, a well known opera director, died July 7th 2021 at age 95.

(Wiki) Donald Pippin, a Tony award winner listed above, died June 9th 2022 at age 95.

This QO further proves it

Easy mistake to make! :D

I've begun to look at Roark and he is an odd one. Los Angeles/Hollywood newspaper clippings state he was "from the East", a "medical student from Chicago", and a member of the 11th Airborne Division in WWII, but I haven't been able to find anything with those clues yet. I'm wondering if "Roark" was a stage name. The 1926 DOB comes from the US Public Records Index under a Robert R Roark living in Beverly Hills to the 1990s, but no connection to that person being an actor, and I haven't yet been able to track that person's origins.

@Ulitzer95 Well, after much frustration I've finally been able to solve Robert Roark, and have confirmed that his birth name was George Isaacs Abt, and perhaps surprisingly, the 19 Oct 1926 date of birth is indeed correct. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Dr. William Leon Abt, an optometrist, and his wife, Cybelle Sachnoff, an opera singer originally from Kiev, Ukraine. This perfectly matches up with a 1954 newspaper clipping from Memphis - see below - which states that the actor Robert Roark was the son of a doctor, though they named him as Dr. William Roark of Chicago. There are also countless newspaper references that state he was from Chicago and attended the Universir of Illinois for a short time as well as Kentucky Military Institute, so this seems to line up. This biographical directory entry of American Jews for Cybelle Abt confirms her sons's stage name (screenshot below), as do census, birth and marriage records, as well as his WWII Draft card.

abt2.jpeg.93ef1407aa348044a96eecbde37e9193.jpeg

Robert Roark later was the president of a film production company, Brigadier Films, alongside his partner Roger S. (Rick) Markle; his mother, Cybelle Abt was listed as secretary-treasurer here (screenshot below). He married Anita M Guile in 1974; Robert Roark and Anita M Roark seem to have had an address still listed in Beverly Hills, California in the mid-late 2000s, so he could very well still be alive. Definitely one of the tougher ones here! Will keep looking into William Glover. I did find a decent amount of identifying clues (names of his wife and children, approximate timeframes where he lived) as well as activity up to at least 1977, but am still spinning my tires in place.

This is a very obscure one, but maybe someone can help me with this: English actress Kathleen Helme (IMDB).

She looks quite old on her appearances in Corrie and Emmerdale during 1960s and 1970s, which is why I assumed she died decades ago. However, there is this tweet from 2020, posted by an antique seller who is claiming to sell stuff from her estate, which suggest she might've died only a few years back.

Find a Will has a Kathleen Mary Helme who died on 30 December 2019. Could this be the same person? There is no birth date on IMDB, which makes research quite difficult. Searching FreeBMD, the closest match seems to be a Kathleen M Helme born in Q2/1921.

Only other info I have is that she graduated from RADA in 1948 and that she appeared in a radio play called The Linden Tree in 1997.

What about British actress Annabel Maule, she is marked as having no evidence for her being alive for years, is she alive or not??? (Wiki@Ulitzer95

Seems to have still been living circa 2010. Appears that she later settled in Nairobi, Kenya, as that is where both of her parents also moved (they died in Mombasa and are buried there). Would not be surprised is she died off the radar sometime in the last two decades, though.

As far as I read, she has returned to South Africa some time ago and I hope like Annabel Maule she did not die off the radar.
