SC Assuming there's a qualifying obit of course... Ok you've piqued my interest seeing as you do tend to remind us every dead person with DDP ties we are waiting on a QO. Who would be a short list of a few biggest names that DIDNT land a QO, cuz people like O'Brian I'm sorry but that's a given. But I am interested (and clearly too lazy to look). I just don't feel the need for a reminder is well-placed with the likes of Hugh O'Brian.SC Edit: I think only a few names are remotely shocking as 'Lost' in 2016: Kitty Kallen leading the pack. No obit for Piet de Jong yet? I gotta find one for you that can't be right. I could name a couple others (Carl Falck) but I'm on this side of the Pond and still haven't a good handle on what type of person obits over there. Kitty Kallen the only glaring oversight I see. So overall there can't be many, and Hugh O'Brian nowhere near as obtuse as the list of Lost folks so far IMHO.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted September 5, 2016 Mail unsurprisingly on the case.Well I take it back, that's my FIRST hit seeing as we are on the Lost topic and Bryan Wieidmeier died earlier this year but hasn't received a QO. So I'm off the schnide lol.SC
msc 18,421 Posted September 6, 2016 Francis Bay, Fergie Frederiksen (because he appeared on the Deathlist, I assumed he must have been more of note than I'd thought), Doctor Who writer Jane Baker and Nick Bockwinkel are the only folk to never get a qualifying obit which really surprised me. Sir Creep 7,070 Posted September 6, 2016 I forgot y'all discussed Bockwinkle, that is still a surprise seeing as some fringe wrestling entertainers, or fringe humans for that matter--Far less celeb has gotten the QO. SC
Spade_Cooley 9,513 Posted September 6, 2016 Mad Dog Vachon got a full-scale Telegraph obit, and he was never on any level (be it fame or talent) close to Bockwinkle.

I don't think Richard Bradford got one which surprised me. I know he wasn't picked for the DDP but as a fan I did look out for an obit.
