charon 4,943 Posted February 6, 2016 11/10 for effort chief. But it is a waste of effort. Defence (lol) spending through the roof, zorders emailing them 24/7 etc etc, their going for the biggest nazi fucker they can in the current World Climate. So instead of the Mengele-lites' of late, we will have the full on Adolf.

RoverAndOut 4,686 Posted February 8, 2016 https://youtu.be/OR1kV2hBaGY That was bloody hilarious. I watched it. All standing there, smiling awkwardly, not coming out. Then at the end when they realised they still hadn't got Kasich! Summed the lot of them up IMHO.... Wish I could say the same about their rhetoric/policies. Truly horrific for the most part. Kasich seems a decent sort (remember the days when Republicans were moderate?) but hasn't a hope in hell of the nomination. It was fun to see Christie knock Rubio about a bit though, smug S.O.B. that he is.

The scary apart is that there are people actually voting for them.
paulh85 101 Posted February 8, 2016 my favorite part of this thread is that the option on who to vote for is 2 elections out of date.
Phantom 2,527 Posted February 8, 2016 If you read the conspiracy theory forums, Obama plans to run for a 3rd term. So perhaps it's not so outdated
Phantom 2,527 Posted February 9, 2016 For those following the primary elections. Today is when New Hampshire votes. And the population of Dixville Notch were the first to vote and count their votes. I've been trying to find out what the percentage was for voter turnout, I'm guessing it was 100% if they were able to open and close the ballots within a matter of minutes. Kasich narrowly won by 1 vote ahead of Trump, while a landslide victory for Sanders over Clinton. So Dixville Notch are either feeling the Bern, or they want Pink Floyd to reform. Phantom 2,527 Posted February 9, 2016 They do these every year where you can match issues that are important to you to find out which candidate is along the same lines of thinking as you. It's a little outdated as it still has Huckabee, Santorum, Rand Paul and O'Malley in there. http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2016/politics/election-candidate-matchmaker/
RoverAndOut 4,686 Posted February 9, 2016 They seem a fairly liberal bunch in Dixville Notch. 4 votes for the socialist and 3 for the only thing resembling a moderate Republican. Wonder how the two Trump voters feel living there...

There's another one which I'm having trouble finding where it put Bernie as my #1 with Hilary at #2, but had me agreeing with 96% of their policies. Again on this one, it matched me to Bernie. Edited to say, I think I may have found it https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz
Phantom 2,527 Posted February 10, 2016 12%of the polling stations in New Hampshire have returned their results. They're feeling the Bern, Hilary has already conceded. Sadly it looks like New Hampshire have been Trumped. Now it's back to John in the studio.

msc 18,375 Posted February 10, 2016 There was a chap on ABC (I think) last night suggesting Ben Carson might stay in the race as he'd get bored otherwise. I laughed.
Phantom 2,527 Posted February 10, 2016 In hardly earth-shattering news, Fiorina's out of the race as well Gilmore's still staying in. Sounds like he's a real massochist. He only got 12 votes in Iowa, can't find any details of how many he got in New Hampshire.

Phantom 2,527 Posted February 11, 2016 The old thread is outdated, so I figured we needed a new poll. Also I held off doing it, because I just couldn't be bothered copying and pasting the multitude of names from the Republican side. Much as I'd like to see Bernie win the nomination for the Democrats, I think Hilary will win, and unfortunately Trump will win for the Republicans.

Phantom 2,527 Posted February 11, 2016 Hillary and Kasich. Causing Sanders and Trump to run as independents. Bloomberg jumps in. Absolute mess. Bloomberg is still "exploring" the possiblity of running as an independent. I think he's sent out his team to conduct polls to find out 1. Who has heard of him, and 2. Who really cares if he runs or not Here's the current list of those running as independents.
