Joey Russ 7,220 Posted May 27, 2017 I had briefly considered putting him on my team due to known health issues, and now I'm regretting not putting him on my team. Oh well. Wetton was worth more anyways...

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted May 27, 2017 RIP .... no one can deny his rockin blues singing chops. Great artist, great loss. SC (Edit: Oh and of course he's 69, right in that 67-72 range they're all dying in. Egad.) (Edit2: I haven't researched liver transplants per se, but seems just thinking about it that 7 years is a pretty good push after having one. I wouldn't bet more than 5 in most cases. But maybe the numbers prove me a fool).

Never Gregg Allman. Just knew he has been sick a long time. Rodney Alcala is the one I really want to see go. Killed up to 130 women and kids in California, New York, Washington State and New Jersey. Google the Alcala photos and see who has yet to be identified.

Joey Russ 7,220 Posted May 28, 2017 My favorite song by them have to be the 23 minute At The Fillmore rendition of The Whipping Post. Such an epic rendition of that song.

You might have summat there - though a list of those already beyond would include Keith Richards, David Crosby and Iggy Pop. msc 18,439 Posted December 16, 2018 Dickey Betts turns 75, still recuperating. Given this list of health problems include two strokes, a fall, emergency brain surgery and a spell on a respirator, all within the last four months, it does suggest he wont be a Ramblin anytime soon.
