YoungWillz 20,919 Posted October 12, 2016 Never be afraid of an entertainer. Unless they appeared on the radio or television in the 1970s.
Weebl 216 Posted October 12, 2016 They're just a bunch of clowns really, in the derogatory sense of the term. And 'killer' is a misnomer - they aren't actually killing anyone. Yet.

Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted October 17, 2016 With the sudden fad of killer clowns hitting the headlines, what's the chances of some moron killing a killer clown? *awaiting a clever tag line. There are apparently "clown purges" now where people go out hunting the people dressed as clowns to bash them up... Anyway, on the topic of real clowns, I was reading about England's first female one this morning: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/nfa/collections/adams
Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted October 17, 2016 On the same episode that they sorted out World War 3, Media Watch has, more importantly, also cleared up the clown craze: http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/s4558197.htm
Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted October 22, 2016 Interesting quote from a BBC article on the history of sinister clowns: "There are accounts of a funny man in ancient Rome who performed impressions of the deceased at their own funerals. The archimimus was allowed to offend even mourning family members. Lucius M Sargent recounts how Suetonius, in his Life of Tiberius, described one at the funeral for the emperor Vespasian. It was his business to imitate the voice, manner and gestures of the defunct, writes Sargent. The fellow openly cracks his jokes on the absurd expense of the funeral." Sir Creep 7,069 Posted September 28, 2017 A woman with Tennessee ties is now behind bars in connection to a 27-year-old Palm Beach killer clown case that left her lover’s wife dead. Sheila Keen Warren was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder in Virginia this week. On May 26, 1990, witnesses said the victim, Marlene Warren, her 22-year-old son and several of his friends were finishing breakfast when a white Chrysler Le Baron pulled into the driveway. A clown exited the vehicle carrying flowers and two balloons. It knocked on the door, shot Marlene Warren in the face and then calmly walked away, police said. The victim died two days later.
