I can't read German, so am I correcting assuming by your wording that they haven't released a cause of death yet?

This is apparently big enough news in Nigeria that his death is trending internationally on Twitter.

Abdulfatai Adeyemi, son of Lamidi Adeyemi, dead at 47 from diabetes complications.

Kuwait has perhaps the only royal family who's successors barely get any younger than the ones they replace...

It's the Arab system, and could be seen in Saudi-Arabia, too. But now they've run out of sons of Saud, so we have crown prince bonesaw.

He shot and killed Dirk Hamer for futile reasons in 1978.

He was acquitted but later was recorded bragging about having killed him and avoided jail. He could not go on trial again due to double jeopardy.

Updated. Also, HM Ngola Buba Nvula Dala Mana Cabombo of Ndongo or whatever his name was died sometime in September, which should make Chike Edozien the oldest "monarch" in Africa if his age is correct. All the listed ones born in the 1920s are increasingly frail, most "somewhat active" except VBC Onyema III and Gundonaa Samata Abudu who I think might die off radar. Orizu III definitely the most "high-profile" on the list and might even get a QO somewhere.

Joseph Chike Edozien dead at 98.

It's taken all day for the Nigerian media to retract the news of his death, why?

Presumably they'd been waiting for school to finish so the children can run on the hamster wheel in the back room that powers the modem.

It seems he is in hospital and rumors he had passed started to spread. No one had enough brain to ask the royal palace for good 12 hours and here we are with another super old geezer failing to cop it.

Vanguard has him dead again, but I think it still does not come from the palace.

I can't really understand if the cunt is dead or not. Condolences continue to arrive, even from the presidency, and denial seems very weak, as they were concealing the news. Rarely seen a death being handled worse than this.

Another article from today. States a reaction from the President of Nigeria. Surely dead then?
