And that's a reply to him that has fk all to do with me!

Am I just about to mute him as you unmute? I was going to unite us, by finally blocking the berk. Oh well.

The other slight problem with muted people is you might have to view a post in a thread you're about to post in, so as not to open yourself up to a Cliving. But it's only a minor problem. Don't let me stop you!

He might be prime Minster in the 2030’s. It sort of feels inevitable just like Boris was for so long.

To do that he would have to move to the left or the Overton window move to the right

I don't rule it out but would like to know the sequence of events which delivered it

It's alright though because the nuclear holocaust you liked predicting will have wiped us out by then.

Overton window moves to the right.

Basically it could happen if he becomes the Tory party leader through defecting or merging or prehaps the leading partner in a Reform/Tory alliance. It’s quite likely Sunak’s replacement as Tory party leader will be pro Farage despite It meaning it could end their job as Tory leader as he would oust them or at least prevent themselves becoming PM..

I am reluctant to speculate on who could be Conservative Leader until after the election and see the make up of the parliamentary party. Anyone accepting that role will almost be resigned to the fact that they will not become Prime Minister so it would not surprise me if an older more experience person took it on almost as a caretaker leader for two years until it pans out how well or badly Starmer is doing. If Reform get some seats that it will enbolden the right and there may be a coming together to form an alliance on the right but that risks a defection of One Nation Tories from the party. Farage will struggle to be a junior partner in any alliance I can't see him playing fiddle to someone even like Kemi Badenoch but he will have a credibility gap if he defects and then tries to become LotO it will make Starmer's job very easy at PMQs

Tbh I am still stunned he wasn't permabanned ages ago for his "I don't care how many Palestinians are killed" post.

But never mind. I agree. No more opening his 'ignored' posts, and apologies/accepted Clives in advance if I post something he has done. Might start blocking people who quote him too.

Thanks to the Malaysian native language, Farage is a fanny by name and by nature:

The actual results of that are more subtle which makes this a real three way contest. Margin of error means there is no certainty either way

If Farage gets in I think he will struggle as a lone backbench MP but it will be interesting to see how he approaches the Rump of the Conservative party once the dust has  settled and they have picked a new leader

Don't quote Crem says @TQR, because you're wasting my block on him I see all the quoted stuff.

Block Crem says everyone else with any sense.

But I demur and carry on because, well free speech innit?

Eventually I concede, give up, relent and block him.

And then every bugger who suggested it starts quoting him themselves. AAAARGHHHH I might just as well unblock him again since I'm seeing it all anyway.

@The Old Crem For the love of god stop posting. (And I'm an atheist.)

And keeps on running with the new poster boy - incidentally, figures on activity in parliament have already singled out our Nigel as one of the less active MPs. Do we have any residents of Clacton hereabouts, and - if so - what's the current thinking on how well he's representing his constituents?

I imagine that might have something to do with the fact that Parliament has been in recess since the 30th July.

Do you go into work during your holidays? :scratchhead:
