Bibliogryphon 9,586 Posted June 20, 2017 That means we are up to six. Those of you who think this isn't going the distance might end up a bit cross as the excitement mounts in November 2021 when Jeremy Hunt is rushed to hospital....

"We need to rush Jeremy Hunt to the nearest hospital..." "But there aren't any hospitals anymore!" "Isn't it ironic?" "Oh shut up, Alanis..."

Torva Messor 279 Posted June 20, 2017 (edited) List delivered in PM. ETA: This is an online, anonymous source, so it's worth the paper it's printed on, but one MP probably on every By-Election Bingo player's list has been seriously ill. A doctor friend of the source who lives in the MP's constituency said he believes the illness is cancer and has seen the MP regularly at the hospital he works at. A Freebie if you trust online anonymous sources once in a while. Edited June 21, 2017 by Torva Messor Rumour Flash!
Bibliogryphon 9,586 Posted June 23, 2017 There is still time to get your team in. Game starts on July 1st and continues until Parliament is dissolved. One wag recently on twitter recently posted. Vince Cable wants to lead the Liberal Democrats. Last month he turned 74 which means by the time of the next election he will be 74.

Direct message me please with a reminder to reveal after July 12 on the By-Election Bingo topic. I'm going on hols (digital detox, no internet) as of June 28.
msc 18,477 Posted June 27, 2017 At a guess - Skinner (oldest, so on most lists I'd guess) or Ken Clarke, who had an op a few months back and has said he is suffering from health issues.

RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted June 30, 2017 Entry submitted on the day of closing via PM. Thought if I waited long enough, surely another general election would be called instead of having to play. Hopefully my good form from Deathray's General Election game continues, but this is a lot harder to predict than the voter's intentions - and that's saying something! RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted June 30, 2017 Sent it again Biblio. Last time I sent it on the old message from the last by-election bingo game, but this time I've sent it as a separate message. Maybe that will work?

Deathray 2,940 Posted July 1, 2017 I'm assume I'm alone in actually being able to name the 50 random constituencies off the top of my head without the aid of outside sources. Sad reflection on my life... I doubt many actually have a shot of dying/retiring for and I couldn't tell you them MPs name for half of them/
