Bibliogryphon 9,569 Posted May 9, 2012 Hi Bibliogryphon here, I have been visiting as a guest for several years and did occasionally post as a Guest but managed to persuede my IT manager at work that the site should not be categorised as offensive material and thereby blocked. So I have registered. Unfortunately it was too late to join the competitions for 2012 but I am looking forward to 2013. I run a Deadpool for some colleagues and found that this is THE best source of data and ideas so keep up the good work.
Paul Bearer 6,100 Posted May 9, 2012 Welcome aboard Bibliogryphon. I too, used to run a dead pool at work, but after 8 years (yes, EIGHT YEARS) the bstards decided it was offensive and demanded I stop. Hope your managers aren't as bad as mine.
Bibliogryphon 9,569 Posted May 10, 2012 Welcome aboard Bibliogryphon. I too, used to run a dead pool at work, but after 8 years (yes, EIGHT YEARS) the bstards decided it was offensive and demanded I stop. Hope your managers aren't as bad as mine. We have been running for 5 years and now have thirty players. As we have less than 200 people in the organisation that is a pretty good proportion and there are significant number of others who only didn't play cause they were too lazy to fill in the form. adrian0719 220 Posted May 25, 2012 Hey guys, I've just been lurking on this site for a long time and finally decided to join. Thanks for validating me! I'm also wondering if someone can help me figure out linking things. I've noticed that most forms will have a line of text, say for example "Zsa Zsa admitted to hospital" and will have an external link to the article embedded into that line of text. Just wondering how you do this. Thanks in advance!

Just wondering how you do this. Thanks in advance! 1) Type the text you want to turn into a link. 2) Highlight the area. 3) Click the link button. It's underneath the Font Size adjuster. 4) Paste the link you want into the box that pops up.
BadEgg 38 Posted May 26, 2012 I couldnt believe my eyes when I found this fantastic website, for the last 2 years at work we've been doing something similar but we call it "The Next Hero to Die Game" where during the last weeks of the year we write a list of possibles,we have a big poster on our wall at work where everyone puts down the candidates, last year we got 8 correct, including Amy Winehouse,so far this year we have got Bob Holness and the latest Bee Gee.Also I stumbled on this website because I googled "Peter Shilton Wifebeater" thankyou so much to everyone behind this superlative website,it will be an inspiration to everyone at our workplace. Perfect Passing 277 Posted July 6, 2012 Hi PP here! Is this the place to ask the following question, that has been on my mind since being validated (other than thinking about death) How many of the original novice deathlisters from Warwick University 1986 are there? And who are they? i.e registered names. I figure that if they have been deathlisting for the last 26 Years, then they deserve a big-up-nuth-respect-in-the-area!! Cowboy Ronnie was involved before 1990, too. There were about 7 or 8 at the original, ahem, concept launch, but I'm fairly sure none of the others have ever joined, though I still keep in touch with one or two.
