Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted January 3, 2018 As per previous years, which celeb on this year's list would you most like to meet before they die? I'll go with Charlie Aznavour.
FixedBusiness 407 Posted January 3, 2018 Well, I'd just like to say for '17s list who I have met because I don't think I said last year: Gord Downie. Met him in '15, the second last time I saw The Hip live (last time being during their last tour, of course) For this year, I'd probably say Olivia De Havilland or Betty White. Olivia seems pretty badass even now and Betty White seems pretty sweet and both are still kicking at ripe old ages!
Torva Messor 280 Posted January 3, 2018 #30, in part to thank him for sending me a signed photo last year in response to my fan mail. 1
theoldlady 2,320 Posted January 3, 2018 I too would love to meet both Olivia de Havilland and Dick van Dyke. It would be interesting to hear about the old Hollywood as well as their thoughts on the current state of the film Industry.

msc 18,490 Posted January 3, 2018 I have met a Deathlist miss in the past and he was a complete cunt. But given my ghost joke doesn't work yet, Olivia de Havilland, given she is basically living film history.

Torva Messor 280 Posted January 3, 2018 I am in denial still about Mel Brooks being on the 2018 Death list. He and Carl Reiner (also a nonagenarian) were on an episode of jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and he was ON, energetic, animated and sharp, doing schtik. If it came down to meeting only one: DvD or Mel Brooks, I would go with Mel. But if Mel went this year, he'd go the same way men half his age do: in a fall or a car accident. Either DvD or Mel would be good, because chances are their former coworker Carl Reiner would join one of them. (I have autographed photos of Carl, Dick and Mel. Dick and Mel gave me signed photos; I sent one to Carl for autographing.)
