Harvester Of Souls 40 Posted November 17, 2005 Never having seen Mr. Moore eat any sort of confectionery, I'm not *the authority* on this, but I don't reckon he'd be into cake. I see him "Moore" as a traditional Christmas Pud type of chap. Plum Duff

Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 18, 2005 Perhaps something with chutney in it? Patrick does enjoy a nice hot jalfrezi. Although this does later cause increased thermal activity around Uranus.
Guest iain Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe ive been exaggerating Patrick Moores condition.Although hes clearly deteriorated physically a lot in the last year or so he still seems to be alert and continuing to work as much as possible,so maybe he could last a few years yet.At least until Sky at Nights 50th anniversary in april 2007. Dr Strangelove 14 Posted November 21, 2005 Had a dream last night that he died. They dont call me Cassandra for nothing! Now everyone is having dreams, So that may very well make me some sort of spiritual\mind influence on many fellow deathlisters. Call me saddo if you like, (I'm used to it) but I'm still wondering why your lines are so much shorter than everyone else's?

MizzJacktheCat 0 Posted November 29, 2005 I saw an advert for Air Guitar music this evening and Patrick was dancing on it. Obviously I use the word dancing in its loosest sense.
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted December 1, 2005 I saw an advert for Air Guitar music this evening and Patrick was dancing on it. Obviously I use the word dancing in its loosest sense. The reason for that is Patrick Moore became friends with Queen guitarist Brian May, who is a keen amateur astronomer. Brian appeared on The Sky at Night and in return Patrick appeared in Brian's Best Air Guitar CD advert.

Harvester Of Souls 40 Posted December 3, 2005 Didn't you know the moon was made out of cheese? So my mum used to tell me It's true. I saw it in a documentary where a man, and his dog, made a video diary about exploration, of the moon, and sample gathering. It was on BBC2. "A Grand Day Out" I think it was entitled. maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted December 5, 2005 It's amazing how a target - like that 50th anniversary show - rallies the infirm. It's amazing how they fall like decayed sputniks immediately afterwards. When is that 50th show?
