It was to stop people posting it in the celeb's own thread. Seeing a new post made everyone else think there was relevant news, or even a death. time 7,968 Posted April 5, 2023 I've posted the birthdays of one or two obscure people, purely to remind the assembled that they weren't always obscure (e.g. Dino Shafeek, Humphrey Burton). By and large I tend towards the older names, seeing them as prospective hits in the not-too-distant future, rather than popular names (or indeed unpopular names) in their 20s & 30s who (all things being equal) won't be on the reaper's radar for a good while.
