Football Manager Sacking Bingo 2

Recommended Posts

Still planning to submit a team (with no great amount of science behind it). Can I have "Whoever Watford appoint as their next manager" on my list? Or do they have to be in post today? :D

As we allow acting managers (hint hint) then no....

It's whoever currently manages the club.

Team submitted! If it's done next season, I may need a cull, but if it lasts into the season after, I don't think I'll be far off. Depends on a few people's starts to the season...

Um @Miracle Aligner I'm not sure where you got the team that you've listed under my name, but it doesn't bear much resemblance to the team that I picked!

I got it from a PM Great Uncle Bulgaria sent me - apologies....

Eddie Howe has just left Bournemouth. Hmm, I don't think we'll see them in the PL again soon.

Surprised at this - thought he'd give it a go this season but maybe he feels he's taken them as far as he can, or maybe he can see the writing on the wall with Ryan Fraser and Nathan Ake. Saying that, 1 down, 19 to go...wonder where he'll end up next?

Good start! I figured he'd either leave soon or he'd still be there for years... if it had gone the other way he'd have been a really bad pick. Oh well...

Can you imagine if you'd picked him too and you'd been right? We could have been waiting another 5 years+ for this round to end!

Gives me no pleasure to advise that, after leading Weymouth to back to back promotions (hurrah), a league club have spotted this and Mark Molesley is the new Southend Manager. Anyway, two hits in one day, something I will never manage at Deadpooling...

I just took Weymouth into League One in Football Manager 2020, then allowed myself to get poached by Fulham. Wish I'd stayed, I miss the Bob Lucas Stadium!

Get applying for the real thing then, applications are welcome!

As it seems our illustrious host has been permanently banned from the forum, I guess it's up to us to monitor our own teams' hits and post updates accordingly. I'll undertake to monitor hits on his team, at least until such time as he returns with a different hat on. Still on just the one hit so far.

To absent friends...

Graham Alexander's been sacked by Salford City and replaced by Paul Scholes.

Not a hit for anyone though.

Been circling the drain for a few weeks now but sadly think that will be my lot for a while, most of my team seem to be doing rather better than I expected (in line with my most of my deadpooling predictions).

I had Cocu! Only noticed having checked my team but thought he was a silly miss when you said I didn't have him.
