1 pointWell, truthfully, no update was needed ;). An exciting first half gave way to a dull second half. Thanks a lot Joey for hosting once more. Not the easiest job, having to check teams and write the masterlist at the turn of the month six/seven months in a row. A fun idea, that can also be a pain in the ass, for host and players alike. I'll take the win nonetheless! But I can't help feeling being a bit lucky that all my opponents, one heavy hitter after another, just stayed slightly below their possibilities, allowing me to just slip into the next round - with the closest result right at the end. Both msc and I expected a lot more this round. It's probably the only deadpool I win this year, so I am glad it all worked out.

1 pointLook, what more do you want, he fucked up responding to a major pandemic, he tried his best for population control! (Although iirc despite this thread's evidence, the birth rate in the West has started to level off...)

1 pointDespite being a fan of The Mind of Evil, I couldn't place this guy at all. Turns out he's in the background of the opening scene before being the guy killed off-screen 5 minutes in, with no dialogue of his own. No wonder I didn't recognise him!

1 pointUsually updates in this thread are bad news so here's the opposite for once. In the last few years, Rico Constantino has undergone a new diet and exercise regime to recover from his lung condition which all but had him on his deathbed in 2017-18. Here he is a year ago and the improvement is incredible tbh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXdQzB4njFg

1 pointProkofiev (who is in my book one of the greatest classic composers) actually lived on Red Square, and so his friends had to move his body down an alleyway to get it away from his house as outside was packed with Stalin mourners. I know you know that one, but it might interest some of the others. The other famous historical one, I'll leave to @Death Impends...
