Yep. Put into my mind. Just happend to pop up in my FB feed. Had actually thought he died a few years ago but then I then thought nah it'll be a big big death in the cricket world.

Now he looks ok, well enough to be doing that anyway but do think he's getting to that age for DL consideration

Definitely. He looks OK, agreed, but haven't seen him walking in any of those clips, so mobility is maybe questionable.

Bruce Wilhelm, two-time World's Strongest Man (and the first winner of the competition) is still alive and 78 this month.

Scottish author, historian, sports promoter David Webster OBE who "created" the competition is also still alive and will be 95 in two months. He rediscovered the Dinnie Stones in 1953.

For whatever reason would you even consider Vin Diesel or Laura Whitmore? Tom Jones not going anywhere anytime soon neither is George Lucas or Dustin Hoffman

For the first two, I do know they wouldn't be the first ones from their respective show/movie to throw in the towel for lack of a better phrase rn. But hopefully Laura will do the Robbie Williams and show them lot she is actually better off without them just doing her own thing. I believe in her.

I don't have much for the last 3 people you mentioned other than they are in their 80s and is common to die with little to no warning at their age

Celebrated her 95th birthday with more than 50 celebrities in her home near Paris. Looks pretty decent for her age. Walks unaided apparently and she's quite energic. She said that she didn't want to celebrate her 95th because she wanted to wait for her 100th but she's not sure all of her friends will be there. Pretty positive which is a big part at that age. Could be drop from my list for next year but as it's Line, she'll be my spot 50 till she goes.

Should be considered for a future list though as she is one of the most popular figure of french culture.

I won't drop her either also for the same reason, a too big french name to be 95. And even if she talks to celebrate 100, Aznavour who looked less frail than her now said the same thing and died three days later !

Wtf has happened to this thread? Target for trolls, people posting their (really shit) 2024 lists in July, and now I need to look at a cartoon panda displaying its pink boypussy and balls until a new page begins.

The panda nads are hidden now. Takes me back to the good ole days where a post was typically hidden for spamming cartoon porn rather than espousing fascism ^_^

Colin Baker made it to 80 last month, which for a chap on the bulky side is quite an achievement.

Watching the Dolly the Sheep documentary, Sir Ian Wilmut (now 79), the "father" of Dolly, has advanced Parkinsons now which "will significantly shorten his life". One to watch, obit certainty.

I know I've done this too, but I'm starting to get sick of everyone putting "could be one to watch for [year]" or these "one to watch" things at the end of their comments. It's starting to become an annoying cliche that I'm seeing everywhere and it makes me ANRGY.
