Well that was probably the worst In Memoriam segment production the Oscars have come out with to date.

Over produced, annotations not legible, and dancers(!!) on stage that stole all the focus.

How do they get this wrong every fucking year and STILL manage to make it worse every single time?

Was looking down his IMDB profile at his final roles. One of them.... for some reason in 2022 they decided to remake American Gigolo as a TV series with Gretchen Mol, Wayne Brady and Rosie O'Donnell. Unsurprisingly it was cancelled after one series.

Not sure how you can say it was "overdue". He's in the remake of The Color Purple which literally just came out at the cinema.

He nearly died of COVID in 2020 and looked extremely frail last April: https://youtu.be/rZGxgUFTPdU?t=811

He wasn't gonna make 90. Should have been on the list IMO. (Which I'm allowed to say given I argued for him to be picked and he's on my shadow list. :P)

Excluding posthumous SAG ensemble  noms( Chadwick Boseman and Robert Ridgely) Gossett has the quickest post nomination death of any SAG ensemble nom . He also joins Ian Bannen(Waking Ned Devine) and Jason Robards(Magnolia) as the only actor's to die the year of their nomination ceremony.

Television actor Chance Perdomo, who exploded on the scene for his role as Ambrose Spellman on Netflix's Chilling Adventure of Sabrina, died at 27 years:

One of his first major roles was as Jerome in the TV movie Killed By My Debt.

Gonna put this in the thread it belongs.

Young actor. Sad. I've seen him in a few things, have a feeling he would have became a regular in Hollywood. RIP.
