To be clear, Ian isn't trans. He's just a weirdo who pretends to be an elderly Tory lady on an alt Twitter account.

And to answer your question – nobody knows. His trolling on there isn't even worth it because nobody bites. His tweets literally get no engagement, and on the rare occasion someone does respond, he doesn't interact with them. He's clearly a very disturbed individual, but then we knew that when he was a DL Forums regular.

I mean if Carter was actually dead, there'd be no way of hiding it. Bush the Elder, or his wife, didn't have that sort of a delay in terms of days between death and announcement, nor did any other president in my lifetime.

On X there does seem to be a general acceptance that 'coming to an end' means what it said but it could be a case of people just taking an opportunity to post and opinion about Carter.

 

If I was not on here the number of posts about Carter in the past few hours would make me think his demise was imminent

I don't see anything like that in my feed.  It's like everywhere, the more you click on something, the more similar stuff you're shown.

I get a lot of posts featuring art, architecture, photography, ancient landscapes, stone circles, animal behaviour, loads of things.
