Foster and Allen (remember them from late 70s?) resurfaced yesterday on an Irish-themed Pointless. Both looked in decent shape but Henry Kelly looked awful. Could be one for DL2021 if he makes it that far.

The 70’s? They were prime time on Irish television in the 90’s, and still regularly appear on various shows now. 
There is a lot of shite music on Irish television.

Tributes are being paid to folk singer and broadcaster Mary McPartlan, who has died following an illness.

Mary McPartlan was a native of Drumkeeran in Co Leitrim and started singing in the 1970's as part of folk duo Calypso.

She was also a lecturer in Creative Arts and was Traditional Artist in Residence at NUI Galway.

She was a founding member and producer of Galway theatre company Skehana and was involved with the Galway Youth Theatre as well as being involved with TG4.

Shingoose, a noted First Nations folk musician and activist of Ojibway descent, whose success began in the late 1960s with the release of three albums and collaboration with musicians such as Bruce Cockburn, has died. He was 74. Shingoose, whose birth name was Curtis Jonnie, had tested positive for COVID-19.

The very song Stuart Maconie just played on his show. I'm already compiling the folder for the List of the Lost show next January - the unlikely combo of Rockin' with the Sikh by Peter Singh and Geordie by Trees went in there about an hour ago.
