themaninblack 2,112 Posted November 17, 2005 I'm surprised none of the Doctor Whofans on here have mentioned Nicholas Courtney. He's not looking too godd these days And the evidence?
Magere Hein 1,400 Posted November 18, 2005 Not really a good candidate, but a spot of legal trouble might cause health issues in Conrad, Lord Black, physically or mentally. Or both. regards, Hein
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 19, 2005 Jack Kervorkian, the assisted suicide advocate, currently serving a sentence for the second degree murder of a patient with Lou Gehrig's disease, a favourite of AtJ's. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...indpost&p=37861. This assisted suicide was filmed and shown on "60 Minutes". His lawyer is asking for his release on health grounds, sounds like he's attempting a Biggs. BrunoBrimley 86 Posted November 20, 2005 Kervorkian? Not a chance.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted November 20, 2005 It's a stunt that Kervorkian plays almost every year. Not to say that there might not be any merit to it, but I'd say he probably has the same chance of dying as anyone his age in prison. Rudolf Hess complained a lot in prison, and he lived into his nineties before committing "suicide." Then again, we could always hope for him to pull a Harold Shipman

Considering all the troubles the DUP have been in recently (like losing virtually all their MPs), I'm surprised he hasn't turned it in already. I bet when he goes, he'd be right pissed off if it were St Paul greeting him at the pearly gates....
in eternum+ 22 Posted November 25, 2005 Perhaps we should consider Jean Chrietien for next year's list. He'll be 72 in January; I know nothing of his state of health, but given the fact that the party he spent so long leading and running Canada with appears to be going down the toilet and is facing a vote of no confidence, who needs bad health? Elections predicted to take place in January just might push him over the edge. That, and all the marijuana he said he was going to start smoking upon leaving government. Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 28, 2005 As a possible for '06 how about Gordon B Hinckley. Who? you ask. Well Gordon is the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons to everyone else) So he's the head Mormon honcho, this at the very least should bring in some interesting ranters. Gordon will be 96 next year and he lost his wife in '04.

Gordon will be 96 next year and he lost his wife in '04. Just to stir the pot, I've also heard that he's incredibly healthy for his age. He didn't start leading the Mormon church until he was 85... not the usual endeavour of someone of that age. No health problems that I could find, but then again I didn't look too hard either. Guest Paul Davidson Posted December 1, 2005 My candidates for 2006: Tom Baker Norman Wisdom Saddam Hussein Gary Glitter (hanging or firing squad I don't care) Phil Windsor Rupert Murdoch John Scott Martin (old and decrepit Dalek operator from sixties)
Godot 149 Posted December 2, 2005 Far too many pages here. But I would offer up Alan Bennett (cancer in 2005), one out of these five: Tony Curtis, Charlton Heston, Christopher Lee, Michael Caine and Roger Moore; Soap stars: Jean Alexander (Hilda Ogden)? Not that old at 79 but all those years with Stan Ogden must have worn her down. What about an astronaut? Chuck Yeager (flyer not astronaut) is still going. John Glenn might be an outside bet. I think Norman Wisdom could well survive Ken Dodd. Ronnie Corbet, however, could be a good canidate now that Ronnie Barker has gone. A jazz trio for 2006: Acker Bilk, Humphrey Lyttelton and George Melly
