I also ask myself this question every single time a name change is requested. To the point where I think it should be a rule that your old name is displayed if a new one is granted.....I am however as completely in the dark as you are when I don't recognise the old one either. Fuck it who cares?

The reason I changed it was because I didn't particularly want my actual name attached to the account, as when I signed up I just assumed I had to put my real name. My pfp was already a picture of the Star Wars character Sio Bibble and so it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that this thread existed.

 

I would also like to say I have never been described as gruff before in my life, but I'll take it.

I managed to ruin my signature from the beginning, and would like to try my luck again.
