Guest Guest Posted February 4, 2008 In his new TV series, Life in Cold Blood, he sounds as lucid and looks as hale and hearty as any 81-year-old I've seen. Sure it's a ways off, but I could see him making his mid-90s or better quite easily. I hope I haven't put the mockers on him.
Dia de los Muertos 7 Posted February 5, 2008 Sacrilege, this thread is sacrilege, I tell you! I am a big fan of this guy, and hope he lives and continues to make documentaries for a long time.
Gunjaman5000 32 Posted January 27, 2009 God damn you David Attenborough, God damn you to hell. Stupid evolutionists, where's Entropy when you need her?
Dia de los Muertos 7 Posted March 1, 2009 Hubby and I were watching Attenborough's latest series the other day, and wondering how long will he be with us. On the plus side, he is a man with an exciting life, who evidently loves what he does. On the other hand, he is by no means young... May he live forever! Bibliogryphon 9,597 Posted June 4, 2013 A couple who play my list at work did a deal he wouldn't pick Attenborough if she didn't pick Patrick Moore they agreed but she went behind his back and picked Moore anyway. David Attenborough is a man who inspires great loyalty amongst his fans.

maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted November 19, 2015 Attenborough says 'I would take my own life if it became 'wretched'. The least he could do is sit outdoors somewhere in Africa and offer himself as food with a film crew to capture such a fitting end.

Scraggy Taters 290 Posted May 8, 2016 Looking absolutely fabulous in an interview on BBC News just now. Wonder if he'll make the 100? If I did a deathlist deadpool for 2017 I wouldn't include him tbh. But as many of you know I do get it horribly wrong sometimes..
RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted May 9, 2016 Looked absolutely fine and sharp as a tack on his 90th birthday interview on the Beeb. Still working hard with more programmes in the works and, unlike our 'fit as a fiddle' monarch, is still travelling all over the world (as far afield as Argentina and Australia in the last 12 months alone). Not going anywhere soon I don't think. May well make 100. Also worth noting - and here's as good as place as any - during a montage of birthday wishes to the great man came one from Dame Jane Goodall (the chimp lady for the unfamiliar) who herself is 82. Equally fighting fit from the looks of it. It seems naturalism is an agreeable lifestyle. I'll leave the wags amongst you to manipulate that sentence to your satisfaction...
