Banshees Scream 110 Posted June 24, 2006 I found out only minutes after it was announced. It was very unexpected and a suprise for me since I took his 'Minor Stroke for granted. Just the other day I looked at Aaron Spellings photo and it seemed he would make it through. Man wasn't I wrong. This sudden death makes up for Gerald Ford's recovery from pneumonia, the health - tease of Ronnie Bigg's and the recovery of Suharto.
Guest PHD Posted June 24, 2006 Congrats DeathList for another one in the can. Early in the week when I heard Aaron Spelling had a "minor" stroke, I told my wife "I think DeathList may have another one". Thanks Aaron for not dissapointing us. Now the question that begs to be asked: With Daddy dead, who in their right mind is ever going to hire Tori for an acting gig? Hmmm... This could be a suggestion for next years list. "Tori Spelling drive car off cliff in Hollywood Hills". I can dream, can't I?

Canadian Paul 97 Posted June 24, 2006 In the airport today, I caught the CNN news headlines, and the first three back to back were - Ramsey dies, Marshall dies, Spelling dies - and I correctly thought you guys would all be having a field day with this. Anyhow, I must place down my commendations for this pick. When I first looked over the candidates, I thought Spelling was one of the weakest - in fact, even after his "minor" stroke he didn't pick up too many points in my book - but I think this is a great example of how Deathlist can be not only interesting, but also well-chosen, so my hat off to all. Surely this makes up for those who consider Kunitz a "cheap" hit. P.S. Congrats to RottenAli for now dominating the Rotten Deadpool!

Thanks Canadian Paul - oh and thanks to Football Fan for the nice comments too. Hay Paul your team looks good - you have a hit already in Charles Haughey right? 1 Tammy Faye Bakker 2 Joseph Barbera 3 Bulent Ecevit 4 W. Mark Felt 5 Estelle Getty 6 Charles Haughey 7 Charlton Heston 8 Maurice Papon 9 Harold Pinter 10 Fred Saberhagen In fact such a good team I think you can look forward to a leading score by the end of your full year term entry. All the best RA Haha, thanks RA! Just before I left for Toronto though, I remember saying "if Aaron Spelling dies, RA's got a chance at a 10/10!" I know MH and TF have excellent RDP teams as well. I say the DL should take the top five slots soon enough!
Ghoul Lord 0 Posted June 26, 2006 I have been lurking on this list for some time and it has given me a lot of insight (and the lead!) into my own Ghoul Pool here in Atlanta, Georgia. But, I think for my first post here, I am the first to note that MSNBC.COM is reporting that Aaron Spelling is dead at age 83!! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13464007/ --Ghoul Lord Atlanta, GA Welcome aboard Ghoul Lord. Thanx for the welcome. This year is the first year that I have been involved with a Death List and to keep it interesting, our pool only allowed picks under 80 years of age. As you can see from the sig line below, my list has paid dividends in no small part thanks to the Death List here! I would have had one more name on my list, but our game started on January 7 with submissions being due at Noon on January 6th. Because of DL, I had Lou Rawls on my original list, but he died 13 hours before our game was supposed to start!!! Keep up the good work, guys, and I promise I'll do my posting-part as well. --GL
Phantom 2,533 Posted July 27, 2006 I haven't found a proper link online, but I heard on the radio that Tori Spelling is fuming that she'll only inherit about $1m from her father's estate. Seems that her stepmother really didn't like her, but couldn't persuade Aaron to completely write her out of the will but a greatly reduced amount to what she originally thought she would inherit

Here is a link. Tori Won't Inherit the Earth The way they reported it on the radio yesterday, was that it was more due to her stepmother that there was some friction but allegedly Tori claims to have been quite close to her father. But what actually sickened me was that she was upset that she was only getting $1m, not the fact that her father had just died

gcreptile 10,972 Posted August 21, 2023 Tori Spelling has been in hospital for a couple of days: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12426945/Tori-Spelling-reveals-shes-hospitalized-four-days-amid-split-husband-Dean-McDermott-Im-missing-kiddos-much.html There's also the suspicion that her recent struggles are just pretense to get a new TV show. She was seen recently living in a trailer - even though her family are billionaires.
