To follow up on this, here's Pollard posting on X/Twitter from his ICU bed, revealing that he's awaiting said transplant and is on a donor list, classified as a stage 2, he says.

Pollard underwent heart transplant surgery yesterday, and it seems that he's feeling good enough to already stand up and move about, albeit with assistance.

Joye Lee-McNelis, longtime head coach for the University of Southern Mississippi women’s basketball team, announced her lung cancer has returned

After reading through the linked article, could a dead pool enthusiast possibly ask for more in terms of background, treatment details, outlook, etc. regarding her situation?

It appears that Joye Lee-McNelis has successfully completed treatment for her THIRD recurrence of lung cancer.

DDP unique for me and probably my only chance of making waves this year.

Onto 2025....

She’s a tough one no doubt. But don’t be surprised if we hear about a fourth recurrence down the road.

This is fairly shocking. He was still commenting games earlier this year I believe. A great player and a very interesting colorful commentator as well.
