Lots of things wrong here (or right as it were).

At 73, you should put thrill-seeking activities to the side IMHO; but most importantly, BASE jumping from a bridge in 'TWIN FALLS', well the writing was on the wall.

Oh I don't know, surely by 73 you need a thrill? Lets face it you have probably put up with a lot of mundane day to day crap by then.

Also you have less life to lose if it goes wrong since you've had most of it already.

It surely fucks me right off that people think I should have developed an interest in gardening by 53, rather than say, a desire to go drag racing or something....sod that for an opinion.

Lots of them lose it against a wall, this is true, but in this case it was a river....

I've actually driven across that fateful bridge once.

Esp the bit about the rock.

Ms Holloway had planted a rock for Mr Nichols at Johannesburg's Botanical Gardens.

He took it back to the UK but has now been left devastated after it was stolen when thieves targeted his car in Salford, Greater Manchester.

He is offering a £300 reward for the safe return of the item, which he describes as something he would 'cherish for the rest of his life'.

The sentimental rock was in a rucksack in his black Renault Clio when thieves smashed the back passenger window and emptied it last week.

Don't know what is more amusing .

Planting a rock.

Flying said rock 3000 miles.

Stealing the damn rock.

£300 for its safe return.

Or, a man with a Renault Clio.

I've read this article over and over, but I don't understand the bit about planting a rock. How big was this rock? Was there anything engraved on it?

My thoughts phantom are that the deceased didn't have a present for him, they were in the Botanicals and she goes "look, there's that rock I planted in your honour".

It's a garden ffs, and the clownshoes probably grabbed a random on the way home.

And normally you pick up a rock to break into a car, not break into a car to pick up a rock.

Smells like shite..

Perhaps they already had a rock, used that to break into the car to steal the one mentioned in the news article because they wanted a better rock.

But then again they were trying to steal his backpack. Found a load of crap in it (including the rock) and just threw it away. If he had bothered to check the surrounding area from where his car was broken in to (anywhere within a stone's throw) he'd have found the rock somewhere in that area.

Got pictures and everything the other link didn't, which is handy as it turns out she's a ginge.

So, my theory now changes to 'murder' as she had his the fact till he travelled.

'Just two hours after passing her driver’s license test, an Australian teen was killed in a head-on collision with her best friend'

I thought that was a ridiculous coincidence then read on to find that her best friend was in the car with her and the collision was with another vehicle.

It is a bit misleading. I thought that her friend was in the other car when I first read that line until I read further. I guess that's what passes as journalism these days.

I'm sorry - I didn't realise there were rules - if you could direct me to the rules I'll have a good read and then I can decide how to tell you to go fuck yourself.
