Also, does Thatcher count as a Science and Religion member on the basis of her chemistry degree? Dodgy I'd say, I mean, I've read several lengthy books with no pictures but it doesn't make me - like - a professor.

Well CP had the team well in advance, a real act of faith on my part considering the average age.

 

Given the bonus points for porn stars, Canadians and the rest I thought it worth risking this lot, since their low individual value acts as a kind of balance to all the other temptations on offer. They'll generate very few points each when they die but like an old anything I conceived them more as a slow but sure means of getting somewhere. I'll tell you now, if everyone of these bastards is breathing in a year's time I'll seriously consider my position hereabouts.

 

If CP sez it's okay, then it is. You'd have to give MPFC Jr some credit for knowing who the three oldest living persons were. The whole caper was inspired when I realised the world's third oldest person is Canadian. I think the average age of the team clocks in somewhere around 105. So it'll take a couple of them to match AIDS riddled Canadian pornster Lara Roxx. Meaning, I'd say, it's fair. TBH I have a hunch the Never Came To Maryport team might clock up more points than the oldsters anyway, some of that lot have months at most.

Great cpdp, I thoroughly enjoyed perusing the teams and the theme teams, for me Carol Anne's 'headbangers team' is an inspired choice, I never even though of CC Deville, but a great pick. I don't see any problem with mpfc's choice, it boils down to 'people over 100 with there own Wiki page', the rules allow it and so does CP, nothing wrong with that, unfortunately he will probably beat my own 'James Bond' theme, but at the end of the year isn't he obliged to buy the rest of us a few drinks if he wins? Lady G, it's miles for most of you to The Miners if I do win. Personally I'd be surprised if my oldsters cream every team. But it's gonna make it interesting. I did consider a similarly sick squad made up entirely of amputees but couldn't assemble enough likely candidates. Fixed the team link and Conte. If you (or anyone else for that matter) see a mistake like that let me know, easy to fix, impossible to spot when you're doing a whole bunch at once.

 

I promise to do at least one letter a day, more on days where I have more time (ie. not Tuesdays, Wedensdays or Thursdays). Tonight I'll add "F" to the Hall of Candidates and "Captain's Log" to the Hall of Teams.

Then I realized that CarolAnn's selection of John Inman wasn't on the main list, which wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that there are now 120+ html files that don't have him listed.

 

Here's what I need help with. I need someone (or a group of people - maybe to split up the work) to go through each html file and insert the following code (everything between the quotations, including the spaces with the included spaces) immediately after the | of David Icke:

If anyone could help me with that, that would be muchly appreciated, since I'm exceedingly frustrated that I missed that.

Thanks to TF, my progress on the Hall of Candidates will be back on track by tomorrow. I feel a little guilty, since I give him a teeny bit more than half of the work (by like, 3 files), so I have updated my signature accordingly.
