MrWonderful 481 Posted April 11, 2019 Former big league pitcher Scott Sanderson has died at the age of 62. He was 163-143 over the course of a long, solid career that began in 1978 and ended in 1996, putting up a 3.84 career ERA. He made the AL All-Star Team in 1991. I don't see any details or cause of death yet, but the Angels announced it on their Twitter feed.

Oldest now was born Nov 1920 (14 month jump). Also, looks like he died from a heart attack 10 days short of his 100th birthday. That’s a total c**t... so far, so close but no cigar. EDIT: an excuse to use this... 1
Death Impends 7,964 Posted August 27, 2019 For about 13 years, the oldest living MLB player always died a centenarian, including those who weren't actually 100 at the time they got the title. But Bobby Doerr broke that streak, and of the three to die since him, only one was a centenarian.
