Tuber Mirum 125 Posted July 12, 2005 I am prepared to tender my resignation if that it the will of the Party.Cash in your notachips, notapotato. How long have you been waiting for the opportunity to use that one, Mr Honez? About three seconds after I read your post. And what are you still doing here anyway? Weren't you off somewhere? Point taken Mr. Honez. A pause for reflection would do us all good. I shall retire tomorrow for a short while to the North of Scotland in order to spend some quality time in the bosom of my family, needless to say, also taking the opportunity to practise my folk dancing. Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted July 12, 2005 Did she take her Willy with her? Hey Poetry Man! Long time, no see. Shouldn't you be in your garret composing an ode to Ms. F right now?
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted July 12, 2005 And just who is number one on Google? Prepare to repel boarders!!! I believe I've suggested before that you should block guests on the threads of the recently deceased. Perhaps now would be a chance to give it a try? Also I suspect she’s rather different to Emlyn/Richard Whiteley, in that she’s lived a full term, hasn’t been on TV in ages, and will probably have few fanatical fans. Earl Gloomy 7 Posted July 12, 2005 Gretchen Franklin- Skinner-d her Willie Play on words from her character name and her pet dog, or is it too rude?
Windsor 2,233 Posted July 12, 2005 Perhaps we could add a euthenaisa (I know) twist to it like her character. Or I could shut up.

Windsor 2,233 Posted July 12, 2005 In all fairness, she did lead a very boring, uninspiring life so perhaps the headline should be along the same lines. A touch of alliteration for example, 'Gretchens Gone'.

Thats just an update while you were browsing Couldn't resist having one of her showing off her Willy (With a double-entendre like that surely a job as an Enders scriptwriter beckons??) Deadornot 12 Posted July 13, 2005 I see from the Wiki, that she is a cousin of the actor Clive Dunn, no less. Perhaps a bit of family competitiveness might be triggered. She should be immortal then. i stand corrected

Poetry Man 2 Posted July 14, 2005 AN ODE TO THE LATE GREAT ETHEL Ethel was a clever lass, never ever silly, She was the only lass on screen, To have a great big Willy. Willy was a dog you know, Under Ethel's arms t'was tucked; Willy died some time ago, And now, Ethel is gone. (Sorry could not think of a word to rhyme with tucked). So "See yer Effel" as Lou would say, "I know we'll meet agin", And Bye Bye dear old Gretchen, From your friendly Poetry man.
