Sir Creep 7,070 Posted June 23, 2015 Nicholas Goche, who Mugabe believed was part of a recent group contemplating a coup, has died of an apparent heart attack. Mugabe lives on! SC http://news24zim.com/2015/06/22/breaking-nicholas-goche-dies/
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted July 3, 2015 Pretty depressing video here both from a the point of view of repressed Zimbaweans and my DL. However, though I might be biased, maybe I detect a hint that they are preparing for change and something may be in the wind. http://www.timeslive.co.za/politics/2015/07/03/watch-julius-malema-praise-robert-mugabe

I've heard and sometimes seen that old people, as they get more and more lost in dementia, turn aggressive to cover up their losing grip on reality. And there have been lots of inner troubles, attempted coups and purgings lately. But I never checked the situation there as regularly as this year. I smell a death late this year.
GossipGabe 333 Posted July 6, 2015 Grace Mugabe "positions herself to take power" "while the faculties of her 91-year old husband decline". Apparently, his mental health is declining rapidly. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/world/grace-mugabe-49-positions-herself-to-take-power-in-zimbabwe-as-frail-91-year-old-husband-fades Wow, this article is pure gold; it clearly indicates that she is even worse than her husband. This is the leadership that we want servant leaders who know that they are there to work for the people and that they should sit down with the mother to discuss issues. Referring to herself as Amai or Mother, Mugabe added that the vice-presidents know that they must sit down with Amai to discuss developmental issues. Mugabe presented herself as a schoolteacher instructing the two vice-presidents. They will be jotting down notes as I speak so that the nation moves forward, she said. A female version of Kim Jong-un, apparently. But didn't she have some form of cancer that was feared to be terminal? Was she cured or never really ill? rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted July 6, 2015 It'll be like Brezhnev, she'll keep wheeling him out, waving his arm and stuff until she's ready for power. He could be dead months before we know for sure.

Presumably this entailed being tied to the rails whilst the All Powerful One ran over him whooping in the first car.

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted July 12, 2015 Lively thread, the lack of major news coverage of this stuff is notable. Isn't it about time some of this was making BBC bulletins at 10pm and the like?
Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted July 12, 2015 Lively thread, the lack of major news coverage of this stuff is notable. Isn't it about time some of this was making BBC bulletins at 10pm and the like? Yeah but any reporting has to be done from across the border. That means getting any kind of concrete news is a bit difficult.
