I know the entire line is dead; this is at least 2 of the linebackers. Can’t speak for the secondary.

Not to nitpick but it's "Steel Curtain" and, while the term has come to be applied to the entire defense, it originally only referred to the defensive line.

gcreptile 10,963 Posted March 3 He retired last year. I had a hunch it was health-related, which is why he's in my shadow list - but unfortunately nowhere else.

He was semi popular pick a couple years back, as if his stage 4 cancer ‘got better’. Ugh. I simply forgot about him. I’ll assume that’s everyone’s excuse. Will be interesting to see if he QO’s, I give it 70% chance.

Even knew he had stepped aside after the draft last year to "focus on his health", and I should have made the connection that this was 7 years after his stage 4 diagnosis. I should have made a notation that he was 2024 material. Especially as much as I watch football coverage. He was a pioneer in the business and from every account I've seen, just a wonderful human being. Cancer sucks.

I'm getting to the age where people I watched during the draft are retired + dead.
