Eric Sievers was born in Urbana, Illinois and died at age 66, he was from the University of Maryland, Sievers was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. He played ten NFL seasons from 1981 to 1990 for the Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots.

Steve Sloan was born in Austin, Texas and died in Orlando, Florida at age 79. He spent two seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Atlanta Falcons (1966–1967). In 2000, Sloan was inducted into Tennessee Sports. Hall of Fame

Bill Tobin was born in Burlington Junction, Missouri and died at age 83, and was an American professional football player and National Football League (NFL) executive. Tobin played running back for one season with the Houston Oilers. He later became general manager of the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, along with director of player personnel for the Detroit Lions in 2001. He was the oldest living general manager of the Chicago Bears (87-92), now he is Rod Graves (93-96), at Indianapolis he is the manager from a more recent era to die, he was manager from 94-96 on the team

NFL offensive tackle Korey Cunningham who was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as a seventh-round pick in 2018, died at 28 years:

Bob Avellini was born in New York City, New York and died in Chicago, Illinois at age 70. He played quarterback in the National Football League (NFL), most notably for the Chicago Bears. He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins and was selected by the Bears in the sixth round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He ended his career with the New York Jets, for whom he did not play any games.

Kevin Hardy was born in Oakland, California and died at age 78, and was a professional American football player selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (7th overall pick) of the 1968 NFL Draft. He was an All-American from Notre Dame, played in the National Football League for only 4 seasons and never for the team that drafted him (he played for the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay and San Diego Chargers

Harris served as an assistant coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons, including stints with the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers

Marvin Upshaw, who played in the NFL nine years combined with the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals, has died. He was 77.  Upshaw was in the league between 1968 and 1976. He was the brother of former NFLer Gene Upshaw and the cousin of former Major League Baseball player Willie Upshaw.
