I believe she was the oldest living Olympic medalist in fencing, now she is Daniel Dagallier from France, born on 11 June 1926 in Trévoux, he was bronze in 1956 in the team sword event

She was also the Olympic champion of an older edition of fencing in the women's individual foil still alive, (1952), now known as Heidi Schmid (Germany), champion in 1960. Also the Women's World Foil Champion in 1953, she was the champion alive from an older edition of modalide, now this champion is the Hungarian Lídia Sákovicsné Dömölky, champion in 1955

She was also the oldest Italian Olympic medalist, now Giuseppe Moioli, born on August 8, 1927, who participated in the coxless four rowing tournament from 1948 to 1956 and won gold in London,
Hungarian sports shooter Zoltán Sándor, born on March 28, 1926, is now the oldest survivor of the 1964 Tokyo Games as Irene held that rank as well

Italian Water Polo player Giuseppe D’Altrui, Olympic Champion in 1960 has died aged 89.

He was the father of Marco D’Altrui, also Olympic Champion in Water Polo in 1992.

Italy didn’t win any Water Polo Olympic title between 1960 and 1992.

They were one of the 33 father/son duo who were both Olympic Champions.

Pasqualino Abetti was born in Correggio and died at the age of 75. The Italian competed in the 1972 Olympics, was part of the Italian 4x100 m relay team that won the gold medal in the 1971 Mediterranean Games (2nd in that team that died), was champion of the 100 m and 200 m in 1969 and 1975, 60 m in 1970 (he was the first Italian champion in this modality, the 1971 champion was Vincenzo Guerini, still alive), 200 m in 1980 in this modality there is a lack of information about Umberto Tedeschi, Luca Vaccari and Marco Lavazza, if they are alive, he is the first Italian champion athlete in this sport to die, this competition started in 1971 and stopped in 2005) and the 400m in 1973

He participated in the Italian team that finished 4th in the 1956 Olympics. Only Paolo Pucci is still alive from that team

Angel Kerezov, Bulgarian wrestler who won silver in 1964 Olympics, died in 2002 according to the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation

Masamitsu Ichiguchi, Japanese wrestler who won gold on 1964 Olympics, is implied to have died on 7 February 2024 by the Japan Wrestling Federation. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one as I have doubts by Google translate.

Turkish Football player Galip Haktanir, who was an unused substitute at the 1948 Olympic Football Tournament, has died aged 102.

He was the last known* male Turkish Olympian from the 1948 Games.

Now the last known* 1948 Turkish Olympian is Uner Teoman. She ran the 100 metres.

Haktanir was Turkey’s longest lived Olympian ever.

He was also the longest lived and only centenarian Olympic football player, though he was a substitute.

Now the last known** living member of the 1948 Olympic Football Tournament is Dutch Kees Rijvers, who played Netherlands only game against Great Britain.

* Mustafa Batman whereabouts are unknown. Olympedia gives his birth date, 1927, but does not mention anything about his death. His Turkish wiki doesn’t say his birth nor death dates. He is not listed here either.

He was member of the Athletic team but didn’t took part in the tournament.

**Several 1948 football players whereabouts are unknown : the whole Afghanistan squad, and a few Chinese and Egyptian. However they’re most likely dead as they don’t appear on this or that list.

Cannot get any of the Dutch sites to translate properly but Kees Rijvers is reportedly dead: https://www.bd.nl/eindhoven/psv-legende-kees-rijvers-op-97-jarige-leeftijd-overleden~ad1f2503/

He was Dutch champion coach in 1975, 1976 and 1978, he was the living coach champion of older editions, now he is Leo Beenhakker, champion in 1980
He was the oldest living Olympic football player, that distinction now belongs to Soviet Nikita Simonyan, born October 12, 1926, who competed in the 1956 Olympics.

He was probably the oldest Dutch Olympian too, who now happens to be rower Jan Willem Pennink, born March 31, 1929
PSV coach between 72 and 80, being the coach of the oldest season of the team who was alive, is now Jan Reker, coach in 1980
