Edwin Birdsong, an experimental jazz, funk, and disco keyboardist whose song 'Cola Bottle Baby' was sampled by Daft Punk in their tune 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' and later by other artists, has died.  He was 77.

If I get this right, Zimbabwe’s “biggest jazz musician” I repeat from Zimbabwe, gets a QO?  Do you now understand why Sir Creep is and remains clueless as to having any antennae on the QO front?

Jazz bassist Jeff Andrews has passed away. A cause of death has not been announced, although he was battling double pneumonia earlier this year. He was 59 years old.

It's pretty much with any state. Each one has its own hall of fame for different genres. 
I guess loosely translated, "they're world famous in Minnesota"

Yeah I was just :scratchhead: as to the Minnesota 'jazz scene'.  All three members of it :)  We probably have a Louisiana Arabic Music HOF lol which would be the same thing.
