Spade_Cooley 5,512 Posted January 29 DDP unique pick for me Milford Graves was the subject of a career retrospective in Philadelphia that ended just the other day, and he was able to make it for an online Q&A to mark its end. He turns up around 54 minutes in and, I'll be honest, I don't think I've wasted a pick here:

He credited the religion's founder, L. Ron Hubbard, with being a main source of creative inspiration. Absolute legend. Another one of Miles Davis' disciples. Corea was already good before Scientology, but well, that's how it goes... edit: I do want to get a hit with one if those jazz veterans. But Corea was still active and, I think, released a new album just last year. Well, I guess then I need to watch Herbie Hancock even closer.
Sir Charms 4,780 Posted February 11 Wow that sucks. Return To Forever were great and I was thinking about them and this goddamn website uniting soon. So it begins. Granted Corea was a decade older than the rest of RTF. RIP SC I could post anything from the first three RTF albums. Incredible stuff.

We just didn’t talk about it much because he was a DL member’s uncle.
