He spent time out on loan from Villarreal at Racing Santander and back in his homeland with Plaza Colonial before leaving Spain in the summer of 2020. Played eight times for Argentina, including at the 1974 World Cup in West Germany. He scored 67 goals in 320 games in Argentina's top flight for Colón, Racing Club, Rosario Central and Independiente, where he also won the Copa Libertadores. Walter’s family have confirmed through a statement by Rangers that he is in Hospital and had an operation last Monday and he is currently recovering. You don't know that. It depends what it's for. Philip had a minor heart procedure and had an infection. Smith could have just had major brain surgery for all we know. True when you put it like that was just thinking about the age difference between the two not considering probable different operations they have had, stupid thing to say on my part.
