Incredibly popular manager for Reading.

Bought the troubled but brilliant Robin Friday, 'the best player you never saw'.

Quit at halftime in his last game, the first time that had happened (and can't have happened much since)

Very sorry to learn this. RIP

No he's not.

Lew Chatterley is our oldest surviving caretaker or full time manager, born 1945. Took over after Branfoot resigned.

Sorry if the translation was bad, but I didn't mean the oldest, but from an older season
Thank you for informing who is the oldest as well and complementing the information

Just the two left from the 1958 Wales sqaud then if I'm not mistaken. Cliff Jones and Trevor Edwards

Cliff Jones is apparently active on X/Twitter and seems to be doing well enough. Trevor Edwards on the hand is off the radar, I could find no info on him newer than article dating back to 2012.

Sure he's a DDP pick.

Terry Medwin reportedly dead:

I think, on balance, this is the saddest death of the year for me personally. Even if he was in his nineties and in failing health. An absolute legend for Wales.

RIP
