Celtic and legend in the same sentence... surely an oxymoron?

Meh, his equaliser in 67 led to the break in the Latin domination of the Big One, and as being the first out of two british players to score in multiple European Cup Finals.....yep, legend.

The other? Phil Neal! :D

South African international goalkeeper and current Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa shot dead at 28.

Well, he's not "current" any more but you get what I mean

He was doing very well - captained the South Africa side in the most recent Cup of Nations qualifiers too. Terrible news

If you ignore Caretaker Managers there are only five living Arsenel Managers

  1. Terry Neill (b.1942)
  2. Don Howe (b. 1935)
  3. George Graham (b. 1944)
  4. Bruce Rioch (b. 1947)
  5. Arsene Wenger (b.1949)

Sorry but no-one is dying.

Only seven manure ones I think. May be better pickings.

Docherty and O'Farrell late 80's, and the hun, McGuiness + Big Ron in 70's.

Big Ron always looks like he might be a heart attack waiting to happen.

John Neal, former Chelsea Middlesbrough and Wrexham boss, dies aged 82.

He was also in the Villa side that won the first League Cup back in 61.

I'm actually finding this a bit annoying. Was he really that great? He's definitely not the best black footballer I've ever seen that was Tony Fuckin Yeboah, thanks.

He's probably not gonna die but they're gonna report every time he's in hospital over the next decade until he does.....

Lol, yes he was 'that' good. A generation ahead of his time, but not playing in Europe and black and white footage was against him.

Not as good as Maradona or Cruyff imo, but v the opposition he had he was lethal.

Giggs is probably the best black footballer I have seen live, for the record.

Yeah but in those much more homophobic times, lack of video technology also helped him, cos it means the guy who took his virginity couldn't put the session on Xtube.

Hardly, 'givers' weren't considered homosexual.

They used to pass a boy round the dressing room ffs. At least Garincha had a goat.

In any case, he's not in intensive care - he's in special care, which apparently is something different and not as serious

His spokesman says he is "completely fine". Expect him to be dead by Monday then

Clarke Carlisle in hospital with life-threatening injuries, read between the lines and you'd know it's a suicide attempt.

Looks like a suicide attempt, shame met him a few times came across as a nice down to earth guy, he has a history of Alcoholism and Depression also.

(Rant removed cos you're not allowed to "make fun of" footballers in peril, even though I wasn't anyway was just complaining about him complaining of "depression" when he got a lot of £££ just for kicking a leather balloon around

Not that it matters anyway cos ISIS is gonna blow us all up on Thursday)
