One of the debates among the forum wrestling nerds a few years ago were if 80s nutter Billy Jack Haynes would obit.

Well he's not dead for now but I'd say 100% an qo name now after he's lived up to his reputation of maybe killing someone in the past by definitely killing his wife in a botched murder suicide.

Didn't think he'd lose a "first person who used to suck their own cock to entertain the boys in the dressing room to die" race to Virgil, but there you go.

Virgil suffered multiple strokes recently.

On the newest Jim Cornette podcast it’s briefly mentioned that Ole Anderson is “not in a condition to talk on camera”, whilst discussing future Dark Side of the Ring episodes. Assumedly due to Ole’s advanced MS.

Anthony Nicometi, who wrestled as Anthony Gaines for various independent organizations and in approximately 100 matches between 2014 and 2021, has died. He was 30. Nicometi was based in Buffalo and used the tagline 'None of a Kind'.

I remember attending a show at Stockport town hall where he was on the bill; I was sat in the front row and at one point he rolled out of the ring right in front of me! Course there were no barricades in those days

Can’t believe Mongo outlasted one of his fellow Horsemen.

RIP to a man who was a bitter old prick in wrestling long before it was fashionable.
