So photo of Dietrich from above cut and pasted into this post - double click on photo gives you option to resize. Gielguds acting career spanned over 8 decade's and was one of a handful of actors who dominated the British stage in the 20th century along with Laurence Olivier and Ralph Richardson. He was primarily known for his gifts as a Shakespearen actor and was said by many critics to have been the best Hamlet there ever was on British stage such was his gift for nuance and subtlety. He also was a gifted theatre director and now has a London West End Theatre named after him hence The Gielgud theatre.
