April 27 two big entries:

1. 50 years ago today Edward R. Murrow.

2. 100 years ago today, John Labatt, who gave us the finest Canadian beer produced, Labatt Blue. Arguing that fact tells us more about you than you may want to share on the internet.

The fact that you claim it to be the finest Canadian beer tells me that either you've not tasted much in the way of beer, or you have little to no taste buds

Isn't there some talk (particularly in the USA) that when a person dies their soul is transferred to a newly born? Could your brother be John Mills reincarnated?

Oh and happy birthday to the little one.

Ha yes I like that idea. Perhaps a few kick that around the block. If so, I was born the day after Robert Holley (carbuerator fame) died. You gotta figure it takes 24 hours to recycle. Sadly despite being born in Detroit I'm no grease monkey so it must have been another baby in the maternity ward that day lol.

He died happy 'cause he finally fulfilled the Italian stereotype of being well-hung.

I'm surprised nobody posted Albert Hoffman's 7th death anniversary.

Would've done it myself, but I was too busy.

BTW, fun fact:

A day after Hitler and Braun killed themselves, another German husband and wife killed themselves: The Goebbels. Joseph Goebbel was declared chancellor after Hitler's suicide and served for one whole day!

It's only the 7th anniversary. not such a big deal as when it's 10, 20, 25 years etc.

I used to post each year, but then it gets to be too much with just another year having gone by.
