Looking at the non linked drivers, there aren't any names that immediately stand out as being around. Haven't checked the linked names but Hans Herrmann is still around if he was there.

It seems Hans Herrmann didn't participate in 1955 because of injuries he sustained earlier in a practice crash in Monaco, so Da Silva Ramos is the only one left assuming all other drivers are dead. Some real interesting backstories to some of the names though. Mortimer Morris-Goodall is apparently Jane Goodall's father, Goodall's co-driver Leslie Brooke was awarded the George Medal in World War II, French driver Pierre Louis-Dreyfus became a centenarian, Riseley-Prichard was in a child pornography scandal, Dr. Mario Damonte was apparently a chemist. Then there's others who saw fame in the automotive industry (test driver Norman Dewis for example).

A racing colleague of mine rang Griffith Airport today.

Not only is Mr Goldsmith still alive, but he's at the airport working, as he apparently is every day.

Paul Goldsmith has now died. He died earlier today. Full link to follow but the poster on Facebook is linked to the airport and can be vouched for from a motorsport background.

Alan Rees also died yesterday. A very fine racer and former Grand Prix driver, he was the last living founder of March and also worked at Shadow and was a founder at Arrows. The AR in March and Arrows was due to his initials.

I'd only learned this last week that he was very poorly. Up to a few years ago (2020/2021) he was still okay.

Granted he only competed in a trio of F1 grands prix but the attrition rate of drivers at the time was appaling, he did well to see 86
