Hancock was his agent, it never occured to me he was still alive this year. Cryer, Sykes and Norden must be starting to feel very lonely. A big loss for comedy. regards, Hein Saw that about an hour ago, but had to get my daughter on the school bus then couldn't find the proper thread for it. Loved Dad's Army and It Ain't Half Hot Mum. Wasn't a great fan of Allo Allo, but did enjoy Gordon Kaye's performance as Elwood P. Dowd in a stage production of Harvey at Wimbledon Theatre. He starred alongside Frank Thornton. Note this picture oif David Croft and Jimmy Perry taken just 4 months ago http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Croft_and_Perry.jpg As you can see Croft looks well and no-one would suspect he was so close to the end.His friend Perry looks much the same condition and is just a year younger.His friends death will probably have a terrible effect on him too,so can I suggest including Jimmy Perry on the 2012 list?
