Pray tell, who is the SECOND most important Malawi musician? Interesting question. Could be Lucius Banda, reggae & Afropop singer-songwriter with 9 studio albums to date? Or it might be Malia, whose albums garnered fair recognition across Europe. Or the late Tony Bird if we’re including dead people, who was an anti-colonialist icon with a musical style comparable to Bob Dylan. Oh shit none of them reached Michigan so they’re all nobodies dw. 2

Clearly suffering from extreme physical frailty and possibly dementia. 2)Ali Aslan (1932): chief of the military staff who was awarded the Order of Merit last year. Seems to be fine. 3)Rifaat al-Assad (1937): vice president and uncle of Bashar, suffered a gastric hemorrhage some time ago. Wanted for every kind of fraud in France, so came back to Syria last year. Ali Duba dead at 89. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Suprised so many have Wikipedia pages. So now that @Gisooo has uncovered a film historian's post about Weber, we now know that she was German-born Italian, not Finnish, which makes more sense as I don't think Finnish-born personalities tend to die off radar? Anyway, born in 1933, not 1926, and died in 2009 (aged 76) so another off your list.
