Leontyne Price (wiki, b. 1927) American soprano George Shirley (wiki, b. 1934) American operatic tenor I went through his entire collection here to get this info. There may be one or two more living subjects, but some are just too obscure to track down a fate for. When I get time, I'll also look at the earlier portraits of Allan Warren, which consist of mainly British subjects – royalty, aristocracy, actors and writers etc. Soprano Margaret Tynes, who was portrayed by van Vechten, dead at 104.
