Probably was on a few people’s long list cause of his rare leukemia, but the articles that mentioned his diagnosis was before I even began researching, so I missed him...

Thanks .

If memory serves me right I think he was one of the creative minds behind LA Law ? A show I loved.

Indeed. LA Law was a superb show with an excellent cast (if nothing like a UK legal training in the UK, as I found to my cost later in life).

I couldn't agree more and I suspect in the fullness of time some of the shows stars will be worthy contenders for the gaze of this forum and even the committee , Jill Eikenberry, Susan Dey,Harry Hamlin etc . I recall having a bit of a crush on a tall blond lawyer in the show played by Corbin Bereynson? Or something similar!

Hmmm, sounds like it might be time for a list or two, if anyone's interested?

I am impressed! Did you watch  any of    the glossy US big soaps in the 1980s ?

Dallas, Dynasty, Falcon Crest or Knots Landing? The regular and reoccurring or guest cast members of those soaps are also an interesting rollcall of names Im sure . A fair few of them would be decent contenders for the committee in future. Ken Kercheval, Linda Gray,  Patrick Duffy , Barbara Eden , Priscilla Presley , Donna Mills , Heather Locklear , George Hamilton etc

Nah, the US soaps in those days were fantasyland for someone like me living in Thatcher's Britain. They bore no resemblance to my life or even one I aspired to. Anyway, not for this thread and if someone wants to even attempt lists in the soap thread for those, they are welcome to them.

Dallas actors is one of the categories in the current Scavenger Hunt deadpool.

Kercheval was on the list in...2015 iirc, as apparently he is fond of a drink or ten?

Larry Hagman was a bit of a miss for nearly everyone on here (notable exception: Lardy!) back in 2012. You'd think an alcoholic 80 year old with liver cancer would be treated more seriously, but so it goes...

Though Dallas is a category in Scavenger Hunt Bingo this round. Not comprehensive but very interesting.
