The only thing missing that would set off the 'scam alert' klaxon is the go-fund-me account. But maybe I'm being overly suspicious. I have to go now- there's a Nigerian prince on the phone that wants to send me some money! https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/09/majek-fasheks-manager-cries-out-we-need-emergency-support-we-are-stranded/

Skinny kiltrunner 553 Posted September 16, 2019 9 hours ago, Sir Creep said: Tumours in the neck, I thought I think you're having me on Sir Creep, but OK, I'll bite anyway. As you and many denizens of this site know, the devil is in the details. "Cancer of the neck" is so vague as to be useless, and no one would accept it as a diagnosis. Is it cancer of the esophagus, larynx or pharynx? One of the sarcomas perhaps (osteosarcoma, liposarcoma, fibrosarcoma, myosarcoma?) Maybe lymphoma, Hodgkins or non? Salivary glands? Adenoid carcinoma? Perchance melanoma, basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma? The survivorship varies from near certain recovery to near certain death, so no one would accept "neck cancer" from their doctor in this day and age, especially in London where he apparently is. So this adds to the fishiness of his manager's statements. I'm not disagreeing that the guy looks like shit on a stick, but we really don't know why. Apparently I'm not the only suspicious one- his funding page still sits at 0.
