I'd say that a funeral appearance is out of the question as he is probably bed-ridden at this stage. they will probably release a statement 'on his behalf'. Initially, I wasn't aware that this guy was already 79 years old. Of course, that made a recovery extremely unlikely.

Sean 6,315 Posted August 28, 2015 Off the top of my head, Leslie Philips has seen off two wives/exwives. You are quite right he has.Others on the list to have outlived two or more spouses are Zsa Zsa Gabor (8) Doris Day (4) Maureen O`Hara (3) and Olivia de Havilland (2). rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted October 3, 2015 He's written his final book apparently. http://www.religionnews.com/2015/10/02/billy-graham-warns-of-fire-and-brimstone-in-final-book/If we are in luck he's delusional enough to believe his work is now done; and that if he croaks it he'll be able to watch all the non-believers etc burning from a cosy spot in heaven and stop hanging on to life in the here and now. Sean 6,315 Posted October 5, 2015 3 years is hell of a long time when you are 97 but when you have had has many health problems as Billy it seems like a poor bet indeed. Then again this is Evangelical Christians being delusional which they are masters at!
gcreptile 10,967 Posted October 6, 2015 Billy Graham releases his 'final' book: http://www.charismanews.com/culture/52435-billy-graham-warns-of-fire-and-brimstone-in-final-book According to the article, scholars have noted a certain change in attitude in there. My theory: this book was written by his son Franklin Graham, who is a bit of a christian fundamentalist. He or his organization most likely also writes Graham's daily sermons that are published in several newspapers. So basically, when Billy Graham describes this book as his 'final' book, it's actually his son suspecting that Billy doesn't have long to live anymore, certainly not long enough to publish another book in his name. Edit: Oops, sorry rockhopperpenguin, who was first with the news, so that my own flimsy musings are the only value of this comment.
