I'd also include "the decade of the 1980s could very well be the last decade of history as we know it" Hal Lindsey (93) and Chuck Swindoll (88). Swindoll has a quite large following and I'd call him nutty, Lindsey's popularity peaked ages ago (and is now retired due to age and health) but is still a prophet to tens or hundreds of thousands. With a quick Google search James Dobson seems to be the only one of these five who doesn't look rotting, but he has quite a health history - heart attack in 1990, stroke in 1998, horse riding fall that caused a fractured clavicle, a fractured scapula and broken ribs in 2011, "very ill" in 2012.

 

There are a few minor/arguable names too - Kay Arthur (89) of Precept Ministries International, who suffers from Parkinson's and "occasional memory issues" and Houston, Texas megachurch head/televangelist Homer Edwin Young (86) who has suffered from major heart problems for decades.

A conservative Episcopal bishop of Albany, who left the church to join two others after the Episcopalians ordained a gay man, has died.  Dan Herzog, 82, died Aug. 4 of neurosarcoidosis, according to a tribute written by another bishop.

Herzog was the Albany Diocese’s eighth bishop, taking on the role in 1998. He retired in 2007, four years after the Episcopal Church ordained its first openly gay bishop, V. Gene Robinson.

• Rabee al-Madkhali (1931/1933) "Imam of Criticism and Praise". Peaked in the 1990s and rotting in recent years. Says taking photographs is haram which is why not a lot of new images of him exist. Quite a cunt and as the above on EMAN's extremist list.

• Abdul-Rahman al-Barrak (1930/1934/1935) Praised by Osama...censored even by the Saudi leadership which tells how much of a extreme bigoted asshole he is. Wants women who drive to be sentenced to death.

I fail to see how this individual belongs in this thread. It’s deeply inappropriate to place individuals here who are merely famous for holding unpopular or idiotic opinions and beliefs.
